- Represent clients in bankruptcy proceedings
- Draft and file bankruptcy petitions, schedules, and other forms
- Attend court hearings with clients
- Advise clients on bankruptcy laws and their rights
- Negotiate with creditors on behalf of clients
- Conduct research on bankruptcy and financial law
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders
Requirements
- Active license to practice law in the state
- Minimum of [3] years of experience in bankruptcy law
- Knowledge of federal bankruptcy laws, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 13
