Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage high-profile bankruptcy cases, including Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 proceedings, creditor representation, and cross-border insolvency matters under Chapter 15.
- Advise clients on out-of-court restructurings, workouts, and alternative bankruptcy solutions.
- Provide comprehensive counsel to clients from various industries, including finance, healthcare, manufacturing, hospitality, and more.
- Work closely with clients to assess bankruptcy risks, develop restructuring strategies, and implement remedial measures.
- Stay ahead of insolvency trends and legal developments to offer forward-thinking advice to clients.
Qualifications:
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school and admission to the New York Bar.
- Extensive experience in bankruptcy law, with a strong track record in representing clients in complex insolvency cases.
- Proven ability to manage all aspects of bankruptcy cases, including corporate restructurings, formal proceedings, and litigation.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to develop practical, strategic solutions for clients facing financial distress.
- Exceptional client relationship skills with a demonstrated ability to work with diverse industries and navigate their unique challenges.
