Description:Please use this link to complete an application on our Company Career Page: Come join us at one of our premier catering venues as a Banquet Captain!Position: Banquet Captain Job Duties and Responsibilities:-Oversee catered events.-Schedule banquet service personnel and assign specific tasks or services.-Ensure that safety and sanitation codes are followed.-Train staff to recognize improper guest behavior.-Examine the cleanliness of the venue, such as the condition of the bathrooms, prior to a function.-Ensure that elements of a venue are ready before guests arrive, including the dining tables, bar, food, and beverages.-Interact with the host to respond to any special requests or last-minute adjustments. -Monitor the activities of workers and guests and respond to questions, complaints, or comments that may arise.-Supervise cleanup, inventory, and storage of supplies and equipment.Qualifications:-Great problem solving skills.-Great attention to detail.-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.-1-2+ yrs catering experience required.Pay & Perks: -Hourly pay -Paid Time Off for Full Time Employees -401K for Full Time Employees-Medical, Dental, Vision Benefits for Full-Time EmployeesThe Company:Lessing's Hospitality Group is comprised of over 100 locations throughout the Northeast and Florida.
