Banquet Event Concierge
Summary: Event Concierges are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and execution of events. They serve as the point of contact for attendees, vendors, and staff, providing excellent customer service and addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Ensure the effective coordination of events and the satisfaction of guests.
+ Read and analyze banquet event orders (BEOs) to gather guest information, determine proper setup, timeline, specific guest needs, buffets, action stations, etc. and collaborate with all event staff to accommodate client and guest requests
+ Meet group coordinator/host(ess) before functions, make introductions, and ensure that all arrangements are agreeable including but not limited to timing and guarantees of food and beverage, set up details, steps of service, the meeting agenda, and details of the agenda
+ Check room set-up before function start time to ensure BEO directions are properly followed including but not limited to furniture placement, tablecloths, silverware settings, buffets, etc.
+ Assist with managing all event operations (preparation, set up, tear down, etc.)
+ Provide clear, concise, and timely communication of detailed requirements to other departments.
+ Interact with guests to obtain feedback on food quality and service levels; effectively responding to and handling guest problems and complaints.
+ Ensure all details are handled in a consistent and professional manner.
+ Provide periodic reports to the Banquet Manager regarding activities and status of events.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
