- Set up tables, chairs, furniture, stages, and other decor and equipment according to event diagrams and specifications.
- Ensure all banquet spaces are clean, well-maintained, and prepared for scheduled events.
- Break down and clean up event spaces post-event, ensuring all equipment is properly stored.
- Assist with setting up audio/visual equipment when necessary.
- Collaborate with the Banquet Manager, Member & Events Assistant Manager, and service staff to ensure timely and accurate event setups.
- Respond to last-minute event changes or requests, adjusting setup as needed.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in banquet storage areas.
- Conduct inspections of banquet spaces prior to and after events to ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization are met.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures for lifting, moving, and setting up equipment.
- Assist with serving members, running food, clearing tables, and any other food and beverage tasks as needed.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Prior experience in banquet or event setup preferred, but not required.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed setup instructions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle last-minute changes calmly and efficiently.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by event schedules.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
