Job Summary
Levy Restaurants, a premier Food & Beverage provider to one of the most elite Convention Centers in Boston, MA, is seeking an Banquet Office Assistant to join our team. The Office Assistant will be responsible for supporting our Banquet Operations Team.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Answers telephones, directs calls, takes messages and runs errands.
+ Oversee projects and coordinate with Senior Leadership to ensure team members have what they need to perform their job duties.
+ Maintain team member schedules in our HRIS.
+ Print and prepare BEOs for our team members and keep our BEO book up to date for management.
+ Compiles, copies, sorts and files records of office activities, business transactions and other activities.
+ Maintain records, including inventory, personnel, orders, supplies and maintenance documentation.
+ Operates office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems and personal computers.
+ Prepare and manage reports, manuals, and correspondence and other documents using database or word processing.
+ Support and assist special projects initiatives.
+ Maintains and updates filing, inventory, mailing and database systems.
+ Communicates with customers, employees and others to answer questions; disseminates or explains information; takes orders and addresses complaints.
+ Contributing to building and strengthening the culture throughout the business.
+ Maintaining scheduling software, payroll, maintaining event-tracking software, printing and preparing BEOs, and mainly supporting all Operations departments across the board.
Requirements
+ Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
+ Minimum 2 years of administrative experience.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Availability to work in late afternoon/night shifts.
