- Set up banquet and event spaces according to the provided floor plans and specifications
- Ensure all tables, chairs, linens, and other event equipment are arranged correctly
- Greet and assist guests upon arrival, providing information about the event and venue facilities
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Monitor and replenish food and beverage stations to ensure a continuous and high-quality service
- Collaborate with the kitchen and catering staff to coordinate timing of food service
- Clear tables and clean up after events, ensuring a neat and organized event space
- Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally
- Work closely with the event coordinator to ensure seamless execution of events
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties
- Maintain a positive and customer-focused attitude throughout the event
- Assist with event breakdown and cleanup after the conclusion of the event
- Attend pre-event meetings and trainings as required
- Follow proper uniform and grooming standards for a polished and professional appearance
- Stay informed about menu items and special dietary requests to accurately communicate information to guests.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience as a banquet server or in a similar hospitality role
- Strong knowledge of banquet and event service procedures
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
