PURPOSE OF POSITION:
A Server cooperates with temporary employees to serve customers directly at a banquet and make necessary preparations for events. Also, he/she must ensure that temporary employees maintain a professional appearance so that customers can enjoy a refined experience.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
EDUCATION: High school diploma or its equivalent. Bachelor's degree or higher in related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Experience in food & beverage services. Experience in hotel restaurant duties preferred.
* Must be service-minded to meet client needs
* Must possess expert knowledge on the F&B menu
* Must possess basic cooking knowledge on menu items (ingredients, how to cook, etc.)
* Must be able to use devices and equipment provided for banquets
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Possess a gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor.
* Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork.
* Results oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule: weekends, holidays, AM, PM, overnight and overtime when needed
