Job Summary:
  • Provide food and beverage service to members and guests in specified dining areas inside and outside the clubhouse.
  • Events include formal banquet events, golf outings, meetings & special club events.
  • Assist with transportation of food, setup, and break-down of food stations, stocking, cleaning, and maintaining all beverage & service areas.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work with Manager and Supervisor to ensure proper setup of banquets.
  • Understand Banquet Event Order.
  • Provide quality service of food and beverages for buffet style or plated.
  • Clear tables and room to ensure guest comfort.
  • Break down and reset rooms.
  • Carry trays up to 25 pounds.
  • Polish Silverware.
  • Greet members and guests in a friendly and courteous manner at all times.
  • Serve drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to guests as instructed.
  • Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service.
  • Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.
  • Adhere to grooming and appearance standards.
  • Must be a team player. Work aside servers, other bussers, bartenders and cooks to make a great dining experience. Being a team player is essential.
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years old to serve.
  • Must possess a High School Diploma.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Certifications in Food Handling and Safety, as well as BASSET a plus.
  • Must be able to speak and read English.
  • Have a professional and conservative appearance.
  • Previous related experience is a plus.
  • Excellent oral communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Must be able to lift, carry and move up to 50 pounds and walk/stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
