Job Summary:
- Provide food and beverage service to members and guests in specified dining areas inside and outside the clubhouse.
- Events include formal banquet events, golf outings, meetings & special club events.
- Assist with transportation of food, setup, and break-down of food stations, stocking, cleaning, and maintaining all beverage & service areas.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with Manager and Supervisor to ensure proper setup of banquets.
- Understand Banquet Event Order.
- Provide quality service of food and beverages for buffet style or plated.
- Clear tables and room to ensure guest comfort.
- Break down and reset rooms.
- Carry trays up to 25 pounds.
- Polish Silverware.
- Greet members and guests in a friendly and courteous manner at all times.
- Serve drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to guests as instructed.
- Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service.
- Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards.
- Must be a team player. Work aside servers, other bussers, bartenders and cooks to make a great dining experience. Being a team player is essential.
Compensation and Benefits:Base pay starting at $15/hr + gratuityIndividual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) Plan after one year of service, complimentary employee meals, $50 cell phone allowance, two-week paid family leave, among other benefits offered. - Must be 18 years old to serve.
- Must possess a High School Diploma.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills.
- Certifications in Food Handling and Safety, as well as BASSET a plus.
- Must be able to speak and read English.
- Have a professional and conservative appearance.
- Previous related experience is a plus.
- Excellent oral communication and listening skills.
- Ability to follow directions
- Must be able to lift, carry and move up to 50 pounds and walk/stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
