General DescriptionThe Banquet Server serves food and drinks to guests during banquet events following established guidelines, procedures, and policies for food and beverage safety controls as prescribed by company standards. He or she interacts with guests and staff in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner and may help with setting up and breaking down the banquet room before and after events.Pay Rate: $16 per hourEducation and Qualifications
- High school diploma (advanced education/coursework desired)
- At least one year of experience in a restaurant setting. Previous banquet experience preferred
Duties and Responsibilities Can work a flexible schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times Stay current on all emergency procedures and acts accordingly Wear proper uniform and name tag at all times in accordance with the standards of appearance Attend department meetings Adhere to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the company, including, but not limited to, those contained in the Employee Handbook Perform all other duties as assigned by management Fluent English speaking and written communication skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
