Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor is currently searching for on-call Banquet Servers!Here at Sunseeker Resorts, you will have the chance to experience more than 60,000 square feet of modern and new state of the art installations. The Banquet Server will engage in a friendly and professional manner with guests in taking food and drink orders. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and friendly service.The Banquet Server performs all tasks associated with setting up, serving, and breaking down of function rooms where banquet food service activities are performed and works as part of a team to follow through with the proper and timely set-up and execution of banquet events.All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resorts policies, practices, and procedures. Job Duties
- Serve meals.
- Relay food and beverage orders.
- Relay important information about orders, allergies, and special requests to the appropriate person.
- Display knowledge of basic bar terminology and wine service.
- Set or pre-set tables in banquet room as assigned.
- Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area.
- Display knowledge of food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Report all unsafe conditions immediately.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness.
- Complete all necessary side work to include filling and stocking, wiping down equipment and areas, etc.
- Prepare, deliver, and refresh coffee stations as assigned.
- Anticipate guests' needs and exceed customer service expectations.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
Minimum RequirementsCombination of Education and Experience will be considered. Sunseeker Resorts performs criminal background checks on all candidates. - High School Diploma or G.E.D
- Minimum of six (6) months - one (1) year Banquet Service Experience
- Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules

- Proficiency required in reading, writing, and mathematics, in English.

- Able to work unsupervised for extensive periods, and to demonstrate good judgment when dealing with customers and peers.
**As an on-call employee, you will not have a regular schedule. You will be called based on the company's business needs. There are no minimum hours guaranteed for any week or month. As an on-call employee you will not be eligible to participate in company benefit plans and you will not be eligible for any paid holidays or paid time off.
