The Bar Porter properly stocks and maintains the bar facility. Is responsible to provide a level of service which is gracious, kind, and warm that creates a sense of fondness that is Old-World Hospitality and delivers Excitement for the casino guests. The Bar Porter will assist the Bartender in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness according to the food service sanitation codes. Focus on departmental goals of - Consistency, Quality and Sense of Urgency. Performs additional job duties as assigned by Beverage Manager.SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stock and serve assigned beverage outlets, maintain assigned levels of inventory, including delivery and stock of glassware, condiments, packaged beverages, paper products, and other necessary items.
- Maintain cleanliness of beverage areas including all related assigned bar equipment, tools, supplies, trash removal, deep cleaning, sanitation, and work area, to include cleaning refrigerators, countertops, and mopping floors.
- Complete required paperwork including bar transfers and dry stock deliveries Maintain pars of liquor, beer, and supplies in cooler and dry storage area, order as needed.
- Responsible for set-up and breakdown of portable bars in designated areas
- Ensure use of correct freight elevators and delivery routes to designated hotel areas and beverage outlets
- Organize and maintain beverage pump room areas, including pump room products, storage rooms, and warehouses, and identify non-stock items and alert management as necessary.
- Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.

REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:In addition to the other duties described herein, each Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations.
- Attend required training sessions offered by the Company.
- Obtain and retain required license(s).
- Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
- Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member's department.
- Have knowledge of the Property's programs to address problem gaming.
- Report any acts of wrongdoing of which the Team Member may have knowledge.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Casino or hospitality experience preferred.
- Must be at least eighteen (21) years of age.
- Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours.
- The ability to lift, push and pull up to 20 pounds.
