Job Duties
Reviews requirements before surgery: all in one, sleep study, blood work.Review insurance info with patient (deductible, copays, etc.)Coordinate and schedule preoperative surgical appointments as required by surgeon/hospital: clearances/weigh ins.Work collaboratively with the physician regarding schedules, patients and proceduresActs as an effective liaison between the patient, surgeon, primary care physician, and the surgical facility in all aspects of pre-operative preparationsResponds within a timely manner to requests made by the patient and confirms weekly schedule for surgeon assigned to, being confident that all documents and testing required for surgery are in place prior to scheduling of 2nd visit.Reviews self-pay options with patient, if needed.Knows BMI guidelines and can offer patient's options for lower BMIsUtilize dashboard to keep up to date with all patients of assigned Drs.Perform other job-related duties as assigned
