Applicants must be familiar with or willing to learn Skidmore procedures regarding the care of horses, turn outs, wrapping, and other assigned duties. Experience handling horses required.The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.Duties include but are not limited to handling and grooming horses, wrapping, longeing, turning out, bathing, caring for rehab horses and administering equine first aid. This job is physical and will keep applicant moving throughout shift. Shifts are 5 hours per day, Mondays through Saturdays, 15 - 25 hours per week.Minimum Qualifications:Applicant must have minimum of 2 years experience handling horses.
