Location Newtown Athletic Club Description Summary:We are looking to hire a Barre Instructor that will aid in supporting all members in creating happier,and healthier lives. They provide a positive member experience that is educational, supportive, andupholds the NAC goal of making lives better.Qualifications:? Passion for fitness, wellness, and committed to helping others reach their goals? Background in fitness, athletics, or dance? Comfortable using a mic to give instruction to large groups of people? Enthusiastic, confident, highly motivating, and warm personality? Dependable with strong work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond? Ability to keep rhythm and teach with a count to the beat of musicResponsibilities:? Available to teach a minimum of 3 classes per week? Observe and engage with participants in teaching proper form and breathing techniques asneeded? Must be organized, structured, and arrive early to all classes? Creating a class atmosphere that can meet the needs of all levels of students by providing arange of modifications through well-structured class programmingPosition Requirements Requirements:? CPR/AED certification ? Barre certification ? Group fitness: 1 year (preferred)?
