Open Date 4/2/2024 Division Hotel Millwright Category Bar Department Position Bartender Description SCOPE:Prepares beverages for the customer in a prompt and courteous fashion while maintaining a highlevel of quality and consistency to ensure guest satisfactions.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Greets guests pleasantly as they approach the bar; promotes house drinks and utilizesupselling skills whenever possible to maximize revenues.2. Prepares beverages requested by customers or servers according to standard operatingprocedures establishing proper proportions and ingredients to control costs and provide aconsistent product to the guests.3. Maintains clean an organized work areas to maximize efficiency; sets up the bar and backbar according to established procedures.4. Monitors guest behavior and guest alcohol consumption to determine when alcohol serviceto the guest should cease; notifies management of incidents involving excessive alcoholconsumption or impaired condition of customers; checks identification whenever the ageof a guest requesting an alcoholic beverage service is questionable.5. Verifies liquor inventory; correctly completes all requisition requirements and stores stockas per approved procedures.
