Description Founded by childhood best friends, Daniel Holzman and Michael Chernow, The Meatball Shop opened its first location on The Lower East Side in 2010. Over the last eleven years, we have expanded in the NYC market to four locations, including pop-ups in Washington D.C. and Connecticut, as well as a delivery only concept in Boise, Idaho!

Our ballers as we call our team, are the most important part of The Meatball Shop family, and we are passionate about serving our guests simple, sustainable, and delicious food. We believe in creating a culture that promotes creativity and individuality within our communities. Our shops each have a unique energy & vibe about them, while staying true to our values and beliefs.

**Position Requirements:**

* Maintain organization of bar and storage

* Being able to produce all drinks for service in addition to attending to bar guests

* Serving tables frequently

* Washing and restocking glassware

* Strong organizational and communication skills

* Being able to identify and anticipate guest needs

* Following recipe guidelines

* Flexible schedule: days, nights, weekends, and holidays (we are closed Thanksgiving and Christmas)

* Working in a team environment

The bartender is ultimately responsible for each guests experience at The Meatball Shop. Bartenders greet their tables and explain the menu and the specials and guides the guest through their experience. The guest is the responsibility of the bartender from the moment they sit at a table until they leave the shop. We all assume other roles in the shop, such as host or takeout, as needed.
