- Frequent Interaction: with members and their guests
- Occasional Interaction: with children
Essential Functions:
- Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available
- Responsible for restocking his bar at the beginning of the shift
- Scratch off TABC stickers from empty bottles and turn in a liquor requisition to the beverage office at the end of the shift
- Assist Beverage Manager with inventories
- Follows set-up procedures
- Prepares garnishes, mixes, and pre-mixed drinks
- Greets members and guests
- Mixes, prepares, and serves drinks according to the recipes approved by the Beverage Manager
- Requests additional supplies as necessary during rushes
- Reports complaints to a manager as soon as they occur
- Maintains and cleans bar area and equipment
- Maintains records of liquors, beers, wine, tobacco, and sundries to ensure par stock is always maintained
- Maintains daily inventory and records indicating drinks in the greatest demand
- Cleans and lock-ups according to prescribed procedures
- Attends staff meetings as required
- Occasionally take and serve food orders
- Performs other related duties as requested by supervisor or managers.
- Must be able to arrive to work on time and be productive while on the job.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Do not serve alcohol to intoxicated members/guests or anyone under the age of 21
- Report intoxicated members/guests and children asking for alcoholic beverages to supervisor or manager on duty immediately
- Always ask for ID if legal drinking age (21) is a concern. No ID, no alcohol.
- If a member/guest appears to be impaired and is driving, offer alternate transportation, such as a Taxi or a ride from a friend or relative.
- Comply with all TABC and Club regulations concerning alcoholic beverage service.

- Must have valid TABC certification to serve alcohol.
- Must have valid Food Handler's certification to serve food (per Texas law)
