TAKODA Restaurant & Beer Garden is looking to hire a few part-time Bartenders. TAKODA brings a vibrant and easygoing drinking, dining, and entertainment experience to the Shaw neighborhood. We are looking for enthusiastic bartenders to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Come join our team and be a part of one of the fastest growing Hospitality Groups in DC!

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Skills

• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Computer literacy
• Knowledge of a second language is a plus
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean

Compensation: We pay our tipped hourly employees $10/HR plus tips in accordance with DC law. With tips our employees average in the $20-$30/HR range. With the right staff we only see this increasing!

Job Types: Part-time / Full-time

Salary: $10 per hour plus tips!!!
