Summary:Bartenders must be fast, friendly, and entertaining. Bartenders must possess outstanding conversational skills and build and maintain loyalty with our guests.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains and ensures checklist including but not limited to opening and closing bar proceduresPrepares all drinks in accordance with established recipesAdhere to policies and procedures and health lawsCheck identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcoholDemonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate supervisor of concerns and observations regarding guest behaviorAssist guests with beverage selection, demonstrate salesmanship with complete product knowledge while anticipating, identifying, and providing for guest needsResponsible for the receipt of monies and settlement of guest checks in accordance with all appropriate policiesMaintain a clean, organized, stocked and safe work environment within area of responsibilityMust be able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of timeOrder or requisition liquors and suppliesEnsure current alcohol laws are being followedMaintain inventory of alcohol and cereal malt beverage in accordance with standardsPerform other duties as assigned General Qualifications: Ability to obtain and maintain gaming license with Kickapoo Tribe Gaming CommissionAbility to obtain and maintain certification following Golden Eagle Casino Alcohol Service StandardsKnowledge of principles and processes for providing guest services including guest needs assessment, standards of guest service and evaluation of guest satisfactionAbility to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes guests want to return by giving each person a positive and memorable experienceExcellent strong work ethic and teamworkPractice good hygienePossess excellent interpersonal communication skills, strong oral communication and listening skillsAbility to work at a fast pace in a confined areaAbility to perform cash transactions accuratelyMust be able to deal effectively with other people both externally and internally Education and/or Experience: Must be 21 years of ageHigh school diploma or GED preferred6 months experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
