BAS Project Manager

Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Building Automation System (BAS) Project Manager to grow their division. Looking for a hands on leader capable of managing all aspects of BAS projects, including technical design, subcontractor coordination, service management and P & L oversight.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements, define scopes of work, and develop tailored BAS solutions.
- Prepare detailed project proposals, including cost estimates, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Lead the design and engineering of BAS systems, including selecting appropriate hardware, software, and network configurations.
- Create and review system drawings, submittals, and as-built documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Oversee equipment orders, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project requirements.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the BAS market, focusing on commercial building projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand the division's market presence and achieve revenue growth targets.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of BAS projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Coordinate and manage internal and subcontractor technicians, providing guidance and technical support as needed.
- Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Manage the BAS division's P&L, ensuring profitability and financial sustainability.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in building automation systems, with a strong background in project management.
- Proven track record in business development, with experience in growing and managing a BAS business.
- Expertise in BAS system design, including HVAC controls, lighting controls, and energy management systems.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to building automation.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide technicians and subcontractors.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience managing P&L and achieving profitability targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Building Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
