New Journey, a Genesis10 company, is seeking a Base Building Technician III for a full time position with our client.Compensation: $38.50 per hour + $1 night differentialAs a Base Building Technician, you will develop, coordinate and manage daily functions of base building systems, operations, and maintenance. Promote a safe working environment following all safety procedures by implementing and ensuring compliance with safety programsLead team members in repairs and preventive / predictive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment primarily consisting of power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, HVAC, Fire Alarms, Sprinkler systems and transformersUtilize industrial electrical/mechanical hands-on experience and troubleshooting, including preventive and predictive maintenanceEnsures that department objectives and key metrics are metCollaborate and build relationships with all levels in the organizationQualifications: 5+ years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical5+ years of experience in the operation and maintenance of a large scale utility plant including boilers, reverse osmosis units, chillers, cooling towers, diesel generators and electrical power distribution5+ years of experience maintaining and operating HVAC and building management system, evaluate and improve chronic comfort issuesExperience working with established GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) procedures in the operation and maintenance of utility equipmentAbility to lift up to 49 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation, and use ladders up to 30 feetIf you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, apply today!About New Journey/Genesis10:New Journey, a Genesis10 company, is a leader in staffing, providing opportunities in light industrial, finance/accounting, financial services, human resources, data, administrative, autonomous vehicles, business operations, and legal, amongst others.
