Position: Baseball - Varsity Assistant Coach

Season: March 17, 2025 - June 13, 2025

Pay: Stipends are paid in accordance with the Teacher Labor Agreement, Appendix C.

Overview:

The assistant coach is responsible for supporting the head coach in all aspects of running the program including try-outs, team selection, practices, games, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* A valid Minnesota coaching certificate (or alternative qualifications) is required.

* Strong background in and understanding of the specific sport.

* Successful coaching experience strongly preferred.

* Experience in building a comprehensive program, developing staff, and managing diverse program-wide elements in accordance with the school mission and vision.

* Srong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the commitment to develop and maintain positive relationships between the program and the local community.

* Proven experience in teaching and modeling character and responsible behavior.

* Positive, high energy, and committed.

* Partners well with parents, staff, community leaders, etc.

* View success not just as winning; but as helping team members to reach goals.

* Orientation toward continuous improvement and transformational coaching
