All middle school athletic coaching positions require coaching certification, CPR/First Aid training, concussion training, and sudden cardiac arrest certificate upon starting the coaching position. Here are some examples of the requirements once brought onto SCCS as a coach. You may obtain your coaching certification by completing the: Fundamentals of Coaching course at www.nfhslearn.com (cost is $52) or Coaching Orientation course at www.cifasep.com (cost is $69). You may complete the free concussion training course Concussion in Sports - What You Need to Know at www.nfhslearn.com.
