Role and ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for the completion and accuracy in the batch making process at the site. Rotation through the job components is considered an essential function of the mixing job. This person must also participate individually and/or as a group in team meetings, safety programs, training, presentations, and other activities that are essential to the attainment of the team or plant goals.This position requires the regular cleaning of mixing vessels as well as mixing blades. You will be required to enter and exit open top mixing vessels. This position will require you to climb steps frequently.Primary job functions include but are not limited to:Lift 50lbs bags continuouslyClean work area during down timeProperly follow formula for mixing batchesUse forklift frequentlyClimb up and down steps to put material in mixersPress material into drums from mixersClean mixing blades and mixing bowlsFollow all safety proceduresQualifications and Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentMust be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in EnglishMust be able to read, write, comprehend and communicate basic MathMus be 18 years of ageMust be able to lift 50lbs continuouslyMust be able to work overtime with or without reasonable accommodationMust be able to stand for long periods of time while cleaning, squat while cleaning, use provided hand tools for cleaning.Must be able to climb steps frequentlyPreferred SkillsCandidate should be proficient in the following:Valid driver's licenseForklift ExperienceJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $20.00 - $22.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shift - 1st shift 5am-1:30pm M-F
