Our company may be 60 years old, but the real growth is just getting started.The Role:The Batch Operator is responsible for the blending of powders and liquids in the mixing department. The individual will be blending chemicals with a range of hazard ratings, so the ability to follow safety procedures and wear the proper personal protective equipment is extremely important. The individual must maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. The Blending Operator must be able to follow batch sheet instructions and perform associated inventory transactions. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, eager to learn, and demonstrate good attention to detail.What You Will Do:.
  • Blending batches of liquids and powders following batch picking sheets
  • Ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met
  • Work safely with chemicals with varying hazard ratings
  • Pulling and organizing materials necessary to produce finished batches
  • Performing inventory transactions in SYSPRO to ensure chemicals are allocated properly and inventory is accurate
  • Safely operate a forklift to get materials necessary to perform duties

What You Will Bring:
  • High School Diploma
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting, a plus.
  • Extended periods of standing.
  • Frequently lifts and moves items weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Must have good listening and interpersonal communications skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
  • Must be able to safely operate a forklift
