As a Batcher, you will be responsible for the efficient operation, troubleshooting, and performing duties in the manufacturing of various chemicals in a plant setting. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the production of high-quality and adherence to safety and quality standards. This position has an hourly rate that ranges based on the experience you bring. The hourly wage is $24.00, in addition to quarterly incentive bonuses. Apply Today!What You'll Be DoingCandidate must be able to perform the duties of a batch operator in the manufacturing of various chemicals in a plant setting.Mix and blend chemicals via batch ticket.Perform quality checks such as titration, filter testing, and water hardness testing on the product batched.Manage raw material via forklift truck.Perform minor mechanical repairs (gasket replacements, processing piping PM etc.) in the areaComplete appropriate paperwork, communicate via email shift statusCarefully follow guidelines for wastewater treatment and disposal of wastewater.Comply with all OSHA Hazard Materials Procedures to safely handle chemicalsFollow Safety/GMP guidelinesParticipate in the site emergency response team.What You'll Bring2-3+ years hand on experience with liquid chemical plant batch process.Forklift truck qualified or ability to be trained.Ability to follow detailed instructions.Good communication skills, both verbal and written, math skills in addition to advanced computer skills (Word/Excel).Ability to work safely, carefully and follow strict guidelines.Must pass pre-employment Drug Screen and Background checkWhat You Will GetKIK offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits including health, wellness, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
