BBL Construction Services, LLC is a highly reputable and well known design-build construction company based In Albany.
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented individual to join our payroll team;this is not a remote position.
The position pay ranges from $29-$33/hour based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Payroll Processing : Process weekly and bi-weekly multi-company, multi-state payroll in accordance with all applicable Federal and State laws and Collective Bargaining Agreements.
+ Reconciliation : Reconcile payroll accounts to the general ledger; resolve discrepancies.
+ Timeliness / Accuracy: Responsible for timely and accurate entries of all employee changes (new hires, terminations, deductions, etc.).
+ Prepare : Prepare tax deposits and reporting to various tax agencies.
+ Year-End : Assist in year-end payroll processes.
+ Auditing : Assist in union audits.
+ Reporting : Prepare weekly and monthly union filings.
+ Collaboration : Interact with others in a professional manner via in person or on the phone.
Qualifications:
+ Confidentiality is of the utmost importance.
+ 2 years of payroll experience preferred.
+ Strong communication & interpersonal abilities.
+ Must be detail oriented and possess exceptional organizational skills.
+ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
+ Possess leadership & teamwork skills.
+ Working knowledge of Sage 300 Timberline (preferred).
+ Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel and the MS office suite.
