Job Description:

The BCP Manager will collaborate with department leaders, the security team and the executive team to develop and implement plans to anticipate, address, and mitigate the effects of various business interruptions.

What you will do:

* Develops and maintains a business recovery plan and procedure; reviews, revises, and expands existing plans and protocols;

* Conducts risk assessments for various departments and functions, analyzing the potential business impact of unpredictable business interruptions such as natural disasters, security breaches, legal claims, and market disruptions;

* Collaborates with Engineering and Security teams to develop and implement best practices to protect and restore data and systems in the event of natural disasters, malware, and hackers;

* Identifies and implements recovery operations and methods to allow the company to function at limited or partial capacity in the event that part or all of the infrastructure is damaged or destroyed;

* Creates and facilitates practice drills for plan execution;

* Develops and provides staff training on disaster recovery;

* Works with local and state agencies to align the organization's emergency management plan with established best practices and community standards;

* Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills to have:

* Thorough understanding of risk management;

* Experience in Business Impact Analysis and its mapping to the BCM;

* Excellent strategic, problem-solving, and analytical skills;

* Ability to think through hypothetical situations and concepts and to identify risks and weaknesses in various business processes;

* Ability to collaborate with others to develop an emergency plan;

* Excellent communication skills;

* Ability to write clear and precise policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

* 5+ years managing business continuity within an organization;

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or similar field required; Master's degree preferred;

* CISSP/CISM certification is preferred;

* Knowledge of ISO standards for Business Continuity Management.
