BD Manager- Permanent - Boston, MA- $100,000-$120,000The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's/applicant's qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.The end client is unable to sponsor or transfer visas for this position; all parties authorized to work in the US without sponsorship are encouraged to apply.Our client is seeking a BD Manager in Boston, MA.Role Description•Work with the BD team to develop and implement marketing and BD strategies for platform licensing and antibody discovery services.•Build internal infrastructure to manage business intelligence, database, contracts, and agreements.•Find, generate, and manage business opportunities with biotech or pharmaceutical company partners who need Harbour Mice technologies or antibody discovery support.•Work with internal operation, financing, and legal team to finalize business agreements, complete negotiations, and transactions.•Attend trade shows, conferences, setup exhibit booths and identify branding opportunities.•Help to evaluate alliance and partnership trends and provide analysis and recommendations to management.•Expected to be able to work both independently and in a team environment.•Build and expand a business reference network to help grow and develop new business opportunities.Skills & Requirements•2+ years of business development and/or sales experience .Title of this position is also flexible depending upon experience and qualifications.•PhD, PharmD or Masters degree or above in business and scientific disciplines in life sciences with minimum of 2 years lab experiences and working in a CDMO, CMO or CRO•Preferred background in at least one of the following: Antibody research, Antibody discovery, Antibody Therapeutic research, Antibody Engineering and or in a CDMO, CMO or CRO.•Protein science lab work is a plus.•Ability of working in a fast paced and challenging environment with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously meeting deadlines.•Strong Communication Skills and abilities.•Strong analytical and time management skills.•Excellent verbal and writing skillsBenefits/Other CompensationMedical, Dental, + Vision.
