Position Summary

The BDC Agent will be responsible for handling outbound and inbound phone calls to find different opportunities to generate leads/appointments and pursue recommendations. They will drive relationship building by performing ongoing and timely follow-up on all customers that have visited/purchased ensuring complete satisfaction. This position will handle inbound calls and assist all guest traffic that arrive through the front door. This position facilities customers with their vehicle rentals handling the process by verifying and documenting all necessary driver information to provide an efficient and timely rental and return experience. This position is responsible for nurturing and cultivating a positive culture and work environment that aligns with the mission and values of the organization.

Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with new and current customers by phone, email, or text to respond to inquiries in a timely fashion, and answer questions on vehicles or services.
  • Works to schedule customer appointments timely in a manner.
  • Maintains an ongoing customer database to capture repeat business for each communication made.
  • Tracks communication methods and appointments/recommendations made per customer.
  • Schedules appointments with interested buyers/consumers.
  • Greets, welcomes, and directs customers entering the dealership.
  • Works on various administrative projects and tasks that may include filing, scanning, document creation, etc.
  • Ensures an optimal rental experience by maximizing on sales and service opportunities with every customer by providing a professional, prompt, and friendly customer service in all customer contact situations, including when answering telephone calls, emails and during face-to-face interactions.
  • Reviews rental parameters with all customers to ensure a complete understanding of our rates and service charges.
  • Ensures that each customer qualifies for rental using our company rental requirements guidelines.
  • Prepares all rental and return documents accurately and completely.
  • Reviews and monitors the condition of the vehicles after each rental, as well as all charges at the time of vehicle return, and reporting any charges or issues to supervisor.

Education & Experience

  • High school degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-3 years customer service or office experience preferred

If hired for a part-time position the company provides paid sick time, pet insurance, early childhood education and company discounts. No other benefits are offered.

Wages – Hourly, Non-Exempt: $16.00 – $20.00 DOEPM21
