RequirementsBrief Job DescriptionThe Club at Mediterra, a multiple award-winning private club located in Naples, Florida has an opening for Bartenders to join our dynamic team at our Beach Club location in Bonita Springs. Bartenders are responsible for providing food and beverage service in the restaurant and on the beach to members and guests with a focus on excellence, consistency, and the member/guest experience. All duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to the highest level of member and guest service with a focus on total customer satisfaction. Maintaining professional decorum in all interactions with membership is essential.The Person We Are Looking for Will
- Greet members and guests
- Take and serve orders, including answering questions pertaining to the menu
- Relay any special dietary restrictions and special requests
- Utilize the proper knowledge and execution of Steps of Service
- Attend pre-meal meetings as requested by leadership
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Create unique and innovative cocktail recipes
- Monitor and manage inventory of bar supplies and ingredients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Prepare garnishes, infusions, and specialty syrups to enhance the cocktail menu
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and continuously improve your mixology skills
- Good knowledge of wine varietals and the ability to pair with food
- Working in collaboration with all other teammates to deliver member/guest expectations
- Maintain a clean, organized bar and work area
- Perform opening and closing duties as assigned by leadership
- Work within a true team-oriented environment
What We Would Like You to Have
- Six (6) months of previous experience working in a private club or high-end dining establishment required
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift and/or carry 30 pounds
- Available to work a flexible schedule, which may include nights, weekends, and/or holidays
- Excellent customer service skills
- Friendly, outgoing disposition
- Attention to detail
- This position will primarily work no more than 35-40 hours per week for full-time servers, and 10-25 hours per week for part-time. However, based on required service levels, the hours are subject to change.
