Server responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Provide Lowcountry hospitality and set the foundation for a memorable experience
* Contribute to customer satisfaction by accurately serving customers their orders in a quick and courteous manner
* Suggest and up-sell appropriate beverage, cocktail, and food items
* Taking feedback from guests
* Clean tables and prepare spaces for future diners
* Perform side work to ensure seamless transitions between shifts
* Acquire a working knowledge of POS System in order to ring up orders and process bills
* Understand and follow all state laws and company policies for food and beverage service
* Handle difficult situations effectively. Keep supervisor fully informed of all problems, customer dissatisfaction and/or unusual matters of significance
* Know the property, in-house events, and local information to respond to inquires
Requirements:
* Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
* Be tolerant to the sun and heat for an entire shift
* Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds frequently
* Ability to provide excellent customer service to all diners
* Ability to use point-of-sale systems
* Ability to multitask and to cater to multiple groups at one time
* Ability to dissolve conflict, take criticism, and solve problems
* Ability to learn quickly on the job
