Primary Function:
Responsible for food preparation and service in Stirling's Coffee House as directed by management. Maintain cleaning, sanitation, supply and general upkeep to Stirling's. Guarantee best practices like FIFO (first in, first out), proper sanitation and customer service.

Typical Duties & Responsibilities:
* Clear and constant communication with managers, other employees and student employees
* Taking and processing orders, cash register operation
* Representing the university to customers ranging from students & faculty members to parents, alumni, staff and community members
* Cooking, baking and food preparation, cleaning and restocking.
* Teaching, guiding and encouraging students, holding them and self-accountable for the completion of daily tasks and extra chores, efficiently and effectively
* Demonstrating a sense of pride and ownership in the coffeehouse which is reflected in the desire to make it the best it can be.
* Following food and safety laws
* Receiving, unpacking and storing shipments
* Opening and closing restaurant
* Other duties as assigned

Espresso machine, cash register, coffee, dishwasher and other kitchen equipment

Student Contact: Constantly, as co-workers and customers
Internal Regular interactions with students, faculty, staff, and other members of the campus community as customers
External Regular interaction with University guests, visitors, and the general public as customers. Limited interaction with vendors, maintenance workers, etc.
Education:
HS diploma
Experience:
Food service experience preferred
Job-Related Skills:
* Ability to walk and stand for long periods,
* Lift objects up to 25 pounds and more with assistance.
* Must be customer service oriented.
* Must have good communication skills, be a practical thinker, and be able to prioritize.

Evening and weekend work required
Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to stand for extended periods of time,
* Must be able to use hands for repetitive tasks,
