Functions within approved scope and credentials as approved by Beebe Medical Center credentialing committee. Follow established nursing standards, procedures, and practices, and gives specific patient care directions to nursing and other staff.ResponsibilitiesAssessments.Diagnostics.Documentation.Promotes prevention.Evaluation.Risk Assessment.Communication.Coaching/Counseling.Quality and Timeliness of Work.Leadership. QualificationsCurrent Delaware APN or PA license. Current CPR Certification. Ability to perform CPR. 2 - 4 years experience. Prefer experience in Pediatrics, GYN and Family Medicine. Prefer previous experience as a Physician Assistant in Emergency Room, Wellness Center or Internal Medicine and/or Family Practice required. Prior experience with family practice, women's health (GYN only), and pediatrics preferredGraduate of a Nationally Certified and Accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.Competencies Skills Essential:* Clear Communication Skills Both Written And Verbal* Knowledge Of Basic Computer Programs* Able To Keep Confidential Information Regarding Patients, Team Members* Able To Withstand Crisis Situations* Has Skills To Provides Customer Service To Patients, Team Members And Visitors CredentialsEducationNonessential:* Master of Science in NursingOther InformationCurrent Delaware APN or PA license.
