Our program is designed tooffer a diverse array of academically and socially enriching activities that cater to the wide range of needs and interests of all attending children. As a Counselor, you will play a key role in creating a positive and engaging environment for students, helping them thrive both academically and socially.Location: Bethany Community SchoolHours: Part-Time, Monday through Friday, 7:00-8:30 AM and 3:00-6:30 PM (Flexible Schedules Available)Salary Range: $20.77 per hourKey Responsibilities:
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children during the before and after school program.
- Lead and facilitate small group activities, including arts and crafts, gym activities, games, and more.
- Provide homework assistance to students, fostering an environment conducive to learning and academic support.
- Monitor student behavior, implementing positive discipline strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with other staff to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all participants.
- Assist with other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the program.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of an associate's degree required.
- Prior experience working with children is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and engage students in a variety of activities.
- Commitment to creating a supportive and positive environment for children.
