Join us and bring your passion to a fulfilling career where you can truly make a difference!POSITION SUMMARY:Under the supervision of the Regional Manager, the Before and After School Enrichment Coordinator is primarily responsible for the development, direction, operation, and supervision of multiple Before and After School Enrichment programs within a region. This includes staffing, programming, budgeting, licensing, quality, and developing and maintaining school staff relationships. This position involves program/site development and the execution of association initiatives relating to Before and After School Enrichment. This role is heavily weighted on the human relations side and requires skills to implement quality programs, set standards, supervise staff, and maintain solid school and community partnerships.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Ability to manage multiple sitesExcellent technical skills and superior attention to detail, accuracy, completeness.Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Personable and able to relate to various stakeholders (students, parents, staff, school administration, community partners)Excellent interpersonal skills.Knowledge of community resources and local child care contacts.Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing effectively and professionally.Responsible for the oversight of all BASE site locations within a given service area.Administers budgets within the area of assigned responsibility and makes necessary adjustments in a timely fashion.Maintains an ongoing line of communication with all stakeholders (Principals, Board of Education, Parents, community agencies) to enhance the site's programming scope and resource base.Hires, trains, and supervises an effective staff team that meets licensing, Y quality, and Association standards.Maintains MSDE Office of Child Care licensing standards and maintains records, updates when necessary, and ensures training requirements are met.Establishes a network of resources such as community agencies, organizations, and service groups to enhance the site's program.Demonstrates Y core values in all aspects of job performance and is courteous and professional when dealing with all constituents.QUALIFICATIONS:EducationBachelor's degree or equivalent direct experience in Education or Child Care.ExperienceMinimum two years experience in site development and management, staff supervision, and programming.The Y in Central Maryland provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment.
