This is a 10-month position with a mandatory summer school in July and August. The BCBA in the EIBI program co-leads a classroom of 10 students and approximately 10 staff with a Special Education Teacher. Assessment:Reviews data regularly and notifies supervisor(s) of any relevant informationReviews student issues with relevant team membersAssesses reinforcer effectivenessConducts observations of studentsConducts observations of staffConducts procedural fidelity checks for on-going programsConducts reliability checks on data being collectedConducts analysis and reporting of behavioral and instructional dataConducts formal behavior analytic assessments including functional assessments, skill-based assessments, and ecological assessments.Prepares and disseminates assessment reportsGeneral:Interacts in a positive and professional manner with students at all timesMaintains student care and hygiene as neededCompletes the setup and monitoring of data management systemsDisplays data in graphs and tablesEnsures that staff maintain clean and orderly areasCreates student and staff schedulingLeads student casingsCompletes student updatesCollaborates directly with leadership staff in the development, implementation, and assessment of programmatic activitiesPresents information in PPT meetingsSupervises and evaluates BSAP staffPerforms all other duties as assigned by supervisorCommunication:Completes all forms, reports, and paperwork in a timely, efficient, and accurate mannerCommunicates relevant behavior/instructional information to team on an on-going basisCommunicates professionally with peers and leadership staffCommunicates professionally with outside agencies, and parent/guardiansParticipates in staff/student meetingsAttends/participates in parent meetingsInstruction:Designs individualized instructional task analysisKnowledge:Knows, understands, and complies with ACES policies and proceduresKnows, understands, and complies with Behavior Services and Autism Programs policies and proceduresKnows, understands, and complies with building/program policies and proceduresKnows, understands, and complies with safety management proceduresKnows, understands, and complies with all relevant all relevant local, state, and federal laws and regulationsWhen relevant for RBT registration, BCBA certification, or supervision thereof, complies with all regulations and guidelines of the BACBDemonstrates understanding for all concepts presented through the ACES Behavior Services and Autism Programs Training SeriesKnows, understands, and complies with all relevant individual behavior management programs in operationFluently discusses and applies pedagogic strategies based in Applied Behavior AnalysisFluently discusses and applies applied behavior analytic concepts, principles, and methodologiesFluently discusses advanced behavior analytic concepts and methodologiesContinues professional growth through ongoing trainings, discussions and other learning opportunities presentedSeeks out additional training and professional development opportunitiesTraining:Participates in assigned training and staff development opportunitiesProvides training and feedback regarding instructional and behavioral skillsDevelops and conducts formal presentations and workshopsProvides behavioral/instructional training and support in the homeExternal Candidates please apply online at www.aces.org.
