Job DescriptionAmerican Behavioral Solutions is searching for passionate, highly motivated and organized individuals to join our team as Behavior Analysts. The Behavior Analyst is involved in the development, implementation, and evaluation of interventions with individuals to produce socially significant outcomes. This position is responsible for performing professional work that is substantially varied in nature under general direction from the Clinical Director or Assistant Clinical Director. The Behavior Analyst applies professional training and experience to determine appropriate interventions for clients, creates and revises assessments, supervises RBTs, and carries out other appropriate assignments.
Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Hours spent providing services to each client must be based on the assessment and individualized needs of the client.
- Ensure supervision needs are met according to the supervision contracts.
- Supervise BCaBAs and RBTs according to current BACB standards.
- Review daily progress notes created by RBTs or BCaBAs for each client.
- Design, implement, and monitor behavior analysis programs for clients.
- Create and modify learning trees and sessions on Central Reach, according to clients' needs.
- Review daily progress notes created by RBTs or BCaBAs for each client.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between all members of the client's team, including BCaBAs, RBTs, caregivers, and outside health professionals
- Facilitate day-to-day operations of the team by ensuring that all necessary paperwork, materials, scheduling, and documentation are up to date
- Conduct assessment of activities related to the need for behavioral interventions.
- Oversee the implementation of behavior analysis programs by others.
- Coordinate delivery of services to clients by caregivers to achieve therapeutic outcomes.
- Conduct training with caregivers and measure performance via competency checks.
- Conduct training with behavior assistants and behavior technicians, and measure performance via competency checks.
- Prepare reports including graphs on data collected and recommendations
- Participate in interdisciplinary and/or care review meetings in which behavioral treatment programs are reviewed.
- Review client's behavior programs and/or assessment regularly (i.e., at least biweekly).
- Assist client/caregivers with completion of the client satisfaction survey.
- Prepare daily visit notes within 24 hours of the session.
- Report to group supervision meetings at least once per month.
Other Duties and Responsibilities - Ensure requirements for documentation of services are implemented.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective action plans.
- Attend training, meetings, and conferences required by the company.
- Comply with all policies, procedures, and requirements necessary to perform the functions of this position
- Notify Human Resources of requests to take paid time off; ensure that the time requested off is posted in the agency calendar once approved by the company; obtain coverage options.
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA laws.
- Report any incidents of violations of client rights, harassment or discrimination, zero tolerance, or health/ safety/ welfare policies.
- Prepare incident reports for any abuse/ neglect situations observed or reported to you and inform owner of the company immediately.
- Track hours of service and stay within budgeted time frame.
- Submit all reports, required behavior plans, treatment plan updates, and any other documentation requested to the Clinical Director
Requirements
Educational and Experiential Requirements:- Master's degree in ABA or related field.
- Board certification (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
- Licensed Behavior Analyst (i.e., LBA, LABA).
- Preferably 2 years of experience in behavior analysis services.
- Must complete a minimum of 8 hours of supervision training.

Skills and Qualifications:- Outstanding social skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, intuitive analytical abilities, training or coursework in developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of state, HIPAA, and Medicaid regulations.
- Ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously.
- Maintain access to computer and check e-mail regularly.}
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and support coordinators.
- Ability to show flexibility and motivation, and to display emotionality to fit a variety of sensitive situations.
- Ability to display sound judgment and reasoning in decision-making and problem-solving skills in using ABA techniques.
- Spanish language preferred.
