Job DescriptionAHRC NYC is looking for a Unit Manager In-Home Behavior Technician to oversee the provision of and directly provide behavior management to families at home and at other sites by performing the following duties. The annual salary for this position is between $43- $67k. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Receives referrals and interviews the person, the person's family and service providers (as appropriate).Assigns cases to self or program staff.Provides behavior management counseling to persons and their families at home, at schools and at other sites as needed.Develops behavior management plans when indicated, teaches their use and monitors their ongoing implementation and effectiveness.Arranges for or provides clinical assessments to determine the person's functional abilities and service needs.Makes referrals when indicated.Opens and maintains logs for all individuals and families served including documentation of each contact, relevant DDP forms and evidence of appropriate follow-up (post-crisis stabilization) once the family is no longer actively receiving services.
