This position requires managing student behavior and guiding students toward more acceptable social behaviors. It could also include substituting in classes on days where student behavior needs are minimal. This position requires compliance with all state, federal and local requirements. Qualifications include but are not limited to a High School Diploma, preferred credits from an accredited university, and knowledge of working with small children. In addition to the qualifications, applicants should have the ability to communicate with students and parents, ability to implement campus and district policy and procedures. Preferred experience includes experience working with young children with behavior needs; and experience in providing instructional support to children. Johnson City ISD pay is commensurate with experience. Benefit options include health, vision, dental and life insurance.
