Job Description:
Under appropriate clinical supervision, the Behavior Support Professional completes assessments, develops strategies, writes personalized Behavior Support Plans for individuals with basic to moderate behavior concerns. This role trains and mentors the support team.   • Experience working with adults with Intellectual Developmentally Disabled (IDD) and co-occurring mental health concerns
  • Demonstrated ability to support individuals with behavioral challenges
  • Proven competency in writing supports plans and effective verbal communication skills
  • Ability to train and mentor others
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary setting with physicians, nurses, direct staff and any other team system supports
