Atlanta Autism Center is hiring to train Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) for full-time and part-time positions at all 4 locations:
- Lawrenceville
- Peachtree Corners (Spanish-speaking)
- Alpharetta
- Covington
Training class is held at our Peachtree Corners location, Mon through Fri, 8a-5p, for 4 weeks. You will be fully prepared to sit for the Registered Behavior Technician exam. Upon passing, your rate will be promoted to RBT and your rate will be increased to $20/hr. Once an RBT, you'll have the opportunity to level up to RBT II, RBT III and earn quarterly increases up to $26/hr.Job Description - Registered Behavior Technician- Deliver ABA therapy in a 1:1 or small group format- Accurately implement skill acquisition programs and implement the individual treatment plan- Accurately implement behavior reduction plans, behavior protocols, and/or behavior support plans- Maintain precise and meticulous client progress records, which may include data sheets, graphs, daily notes, anecdotal information, etc.- Maintain a safe, clean, stimulating, and fun environment for the client- Collaborate with the client family and related professionals as needed regarding client updates, progress, behavioral concerns, etc.- Uphold company policies and standards of conduct; implement ABA intervention in line with the BACB ethical guidelines- Promptly report all incidents of abuse/neglect and train others to recognize signs of abuse, neglect, and exploitation- Provide high quality customer service to clients and their families- Participate in initial and ongoing staff training as offered, as well as commit to continued learning and performance improvement'COVID-19 Precaution(s):

RequirementsEducation and/or Experience Requirements:
- H.S. Diploma/GED required; Bachelors, or associate's degree in psychology, social work, special education or related field preferred.
- Language - Bilingual Spanish preferred
- CPR certification or eligible to get certified within 90 days of hire
- Relevant experience preferred.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift and carry patients.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal relationship skills
- Desire for continued learning opportunities, and willingness to embrace instruction
- Ability to work with multi-disciplinary team members.
- Computer skills.
