What Will your Day Look Like as a Behavior Technician (BT)?
- Teachindividuals with autism to talk, play, make friends, and function independently, while helping reduce challenging behaviors and improve overall functioning
- Work one on one with kiddos (or small group), in-home, in daycare/school or in an EI Center
- Collectdata and write session notes to demonstrate each clients progress toward his/her/their goals
- Work collaboratively with your BCBA supervisor
What Will you Do as a Behavior Technician (BT)?
- Provide intensive one-on-one therapy (or small group setting) to children with ASD
- Follow and implement care plan goals designed by BCBAs including reinforcement procedures, teaching procedures, behavior reduction procedures, discrete trial teaching, etc.
- Establishes & maintains therapeutic relationship
