Meraki Autism Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate ABA Behavior Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) by implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy programs.
Responsibilities:
- Implement one-on-one and small group ABA therapy programs designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Work collaboratively with the BCBA to ensure fidelity to treatment plans and collect accurate data on client progress
- Teach and reinforce a variety of skills, including communication, social interaction, daily living skills, and appropriate replacement behaviors
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment for clients
- Maintain clear and concise documentation of all interventions and client progress
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to provide training and support
- Stay up-to-date on the latest ABA principles and practices
- Deliver high-quality ABA therapy services directly in clients' home and clinic
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience working with children with ASD or other developmental disabilities (preferred)
- Basic understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis principles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate, patient, and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Provide in-home and center based therapy services with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience in providing therapy in a home-based setting (a plus)
- Must be able to pass a background check
