* Aide the student in their least restrictive environment, including assisting with their curriculum development, functional communication training, and building peer and teacher relationships with the student
* Learn and apply the students Behavior Intervention Plan/Behavior Support Plan in a school setting
* Use behavior analytic/evidence-based practices in your day-to-day environment
* Maintain an appropriate workplace environment that promotes the health and safety of staff and students
* Follows classroom structure created by teacher, therapist, and other school personnel
* Supports students in utilizing positive coping skills and helps with de-escalation and crisis management
* Ability to remain calm, positive, and patient working with children who have special needs
* Strong work ethic in which consistency, reliability, compassion, and care are at the forefront of decision-making
* Ability to work well with a variety of personality styles and situational concerns in a professional and caring manner
* Must be a responsible, optimistic, and motivated individual, willing to learn
* Open to learning about behavior analysis and how to incorporate that into the educational environment
* Applied behavior analysis: 1 year (preferred)
* Classroom: 1 year (preferred)
