If so, apply to join AKABA's dynamic team as a part-time Behavior Technician! Your growth will be valued and encouraged as you get to make a lasting impact on young people with Autism. AKABA's dynamic team of Behavior Technicians (or ABA Therapists) provide 1-to-1 ABA services in the client homes, the AKABA center, and various community settings to help kids with Autism reach meaningful goals such as building social skills, communication skills, and learning to manage challenging behaviors.Therapy sessions usually run 3-4 hours and primarily take place during after school to evening hours. Our team focuses on assigning cases as locally as possible (usually within 30 minutes) to your home address or regular school/other work location.*Must be available to work 3-4 days per week (usually totals to 10-20 hours) primarily between the hours of 3-8PM*Reliable, personal transportation is required for Center and Community Access Activities *Pay starts at $20.00 -$23.00 per hour to start. Pay increases by $1.00-$3.00 over a 3-6-month period based on time and trainingWhat we offer:

- Supervision for RBT Credential
Responsibilities:
- Be fun, engaging, and able to build a relationship with clients
- Work under the supervision of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)
- Data collection
- Implementing individualized behavior support plans
- Implementing skill acquisition programs
- Working with families for effective collaboration on client
- Submitting all required paperwork promptly
- Attending monthly case review meetings with their direct supervisor
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Driver's License & Reliable transportation (Required)
- Friendly and energetic, enjoy working with children and young adults
- Experience working with individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities (preferably Autism)
- Must be timely and organized.
- Ability to work independently.
- Customer Service Skills
