We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians/Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). If you are passionate about working with children, providing personalized care, and making a difference, this is the opportunity for you. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 care using the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) in the homes of the families we serve.
- Implement individualized strength-based treatment plans.
- Collect data, monitor progress, and support client development in areas including communication, leisure and independent play, social skills, and daily living skills.
- Manage problematic/interfering behaviors through effective intervention strategies.
- Provide regular updates to the clinical team regarding client progress.
- Maintain assent and ensure a positive and respectful environment at all times.
- Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers, fostering collaborative relationships.
- Remain open and curious to learn new skills and methodologies.
- Utilize creative teaching and problem-solving skills to enhance the learning experience.
Candidate Qualifications:
- High school degree or higher.
- Preferably a portion of or complete bachelor's degree in child development, psychology, or early education.
- RBT certification in good standing preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Passion for working with children.
- Reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check.
