The Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs and collaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives. Position Details:
- 2024-25 School Year (potential to extend)
- 37.5 guaranteed hours per week
- ASAP start
School Details:
- Working as TA in Exceptional Children's classroom, either inclusion or self contained
- May be helping with toileting and diapering
Requirements:
- Must have Associates or Bachelors degree, or at least 48 college credit hours completed
- Previous experience as Teacher Assistant or comparable in-school position required, preferably in Special Education
- Previous experience working with ages K-12 is highly preferred
- Must be passionate about working with children
- Strong ability to collaborate with others and be a team player
