This is a community-based position. Magazine Diversity Award WinnerWest Michigan's 101 Best & Brightest Companies to Work ForCrain's Cool Places to WorkOakland Parenting Awareness Coalition's Family Friendly Employer of the YearEssential Job Responsibilities:Engage individuals with a welcoming, hopeful, and empathetic approach to foster a positive therapeutic relationship.Collaborate as part of the Children's Rapid Response Team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate services for individuals and families facing psychiatric and co-occurring disorders.Conduct integrated strength-based assessments to evaluate behavioral health, substance use, and psychiatric disorders, identifying acute needs and risks to arrange appropriate interventions.Respond rapidly to individuals or families in crisis, providing intensive stabilization services through individual, group, or family psychotherapy, and continuously evaluate their progress.Perform case management functions as needed, acting as a liaison with schools, vocational personnel, and community agencies to formulate and execute treatment plans.Assist individuals in recognizing behavioral changes that may trigger relapse and help develop relapse prevention and crisis plans utilizing personal and community resources.Ensure continuity of care by communicating and collaborating with other providers, completing necessary paperwork according to funding requirements and organizational policies.Minimum Qualification:Possess a Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Social Work; AND Have an LMSW from the State of Michigan Department of Consumer and Industry Services (preferred); ORPossess a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Counseling; AND have a license as a professional counselor (LPC) from the State of Michigan Department of Consumer and Industry Services;Possess a valid motor vehicle operator or chauffeur's license.Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.Must possess knowledge and understanding of co-occurring disorders (mental health, substance abuse, and autism spectrum disorders; Stages of Change; Phases of Recovery, and Motivational Interviewing.Must maintain 24 hours child diagnostic treatment services training requirement.Job Type: Full-timeSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayAbility to Commute: Oakland County, MI (Required)Work Location: In person#J-18808-Ljbffr
